Jing Yan, LCSW She/Her/Hers
I'm a bilingual and licensed clinical social worker in New York City. I embrace cultural sensitivity while working with clients from diverse backgrounds. I work with children, teenagers, adults, and couples.
My Approach

I provide a safe space for clients and explore their unconscious mind.
I have been trained at psychoanalytic institutes, such as the Harlem Family Institute and the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis.
My Journey as A Therapist
I grew up in China where mental health was not greatly valued. I went to New York University for graduate school to study social work and have been in psychoanalytic trainings after graduation. I believe people can thrive and overcome pain and suffering. Our childhood and family experience shape who we are, but we can choose to be the master of our own life!
I promise to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
